NASHVILLE, TENN. – 2X JUNO Award winner and 3X CCMA Entertainer of the Year Dallas Smith continues to expand his global impact, announcing several milestone performances and record-breaking accolades, adding to an already impressive list of international achievements.

Unveiled today, Smith will make his solo Grand Ole Opry debutstepping inside the hallowed Circle on June 12, following what will be his first appearance at Nashville’s CMA Fest with a performance on the Good Molecules Reverb Stage on June 8.

“Nashville really has come to feel like a second home for me, and after this many years of making country music, it feels amazing to be stepping into these rooms and onto these stages for the first time,” Smith says. “I respect the tradition of country music, so being a part of it in this way is something I am truly looking forward to.”

Recently becoming the first Canadian artist to earn 13 No. 1 singles at Canadian country radio with his latest chart-topper “Fixer Upper,” the 2022 CMA International Award nominee for the Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award has notched 21 Gold-certified singles, nine Platinum-certified singles, and four Gold-certified albums across his storied career. He’ll go for his 14th No. 1 with new global focus track “Use Me,” now impacting country radio worldwide including Canada, Australia, and the U.K..

Amassing 520 million global on-demand streams and over two million album equivalents, Smith’s October-released, self-titled album, Dallas Smith, “blends the singer-songwriter’s arena-ready, rock-tinged sound with contemporary Nashvillian wit and cascading lyricism” (Holler). Produced by Joey Moi, the record features writing credits from country music superstars HARDYCole SwindellERNEST, reigning ACM Songwriter of the Year Ashley Gorley, and GRAMMY-winning songwriter Hillary Lindsey.

The former front man of platinum-selling rock band Default turned country music star is a road-tested headliner, bringing his catalog of hits to stages worldwide. This summer, Smith continues that legacy with performances at Country Thunder Arizona, Toronto’s HISTORY, Headwaters Country Jam, and more.
